Good readers wanted for study to help dyslexics

Are you a good reader?

  • Do you like to read?
  • Do you read comfortably for hours?
  • Is your reading speed above average?
  • Do you generally have an easy time understanding what you’re reading unless the material itself is difficult?

If yes, I want to do a video call with you to explore your reading strategies. This call will last approximately 2 hours.

This is the first phase of a study designed to help people with dyslexia and other reading problems.

No instruments are involved. I will ask you questions about your experience of reading, have you imagine reading various ways, and have you test-read short pieces of text. In return, you will discover fascinating things about how your own brain works. (I may also be able to further improve your reading speed and comprehension, though that is not guaranteed.)

There is no cost to participate in this study. You will not be paid.

Feel free to invite an interested friend, and bring a favorite book.

To volunteer, fill out this web form.

If you or your child has reading problems, get on the waiting list for phase 2 of the study by filling out this web form.
